T:Is there any link between Reynards disease and Alzheimers
Q:Hi All, My wife has been diagnosed with Alzheimers, she also has Reynards which restricts the blood supply to the extremities in cold conditions, she also feels dizzy if standing without moving for a few minutes, which I think is connected to Reynauds.
Does anyone think that the blood supply to the brain could be restricted, causing the Alzhiemers or making it worse.
Her mother died of Alzhiemers and her father I think had Reynards.

A:I googled: Raynard's disease and Alzheimers and didn't find much.
A:Standing from a sitting position lowers the blood pressure which can cause dizziness.
I have Raynaud's as well, no AD tho :) And the Bp drop is not associated with Raynaud's.
What kind of medications is she on?
A:Hi, She`s on <medicine> <num>mg and <num>mg of <medicine>.

A:If her bp is normal but if the dizziness continue you should let her <professional_practitioner> know.
They can perform various tests to find out why.
Btw, there are two primary types of dementia.
Alzheimer's and vascular dementia.
If she has Alzheimer's, most likely her blood flow to the brain is not being restricted but if she has vascular then lack of blood flow can make dementia worse.
Raynaud's Shouldn't affect a person with Vascular dementia as Raynaud's affects the fingers and toes.
A:Hi, Thanks for the information I will make an appointment with her professional_practitioner> regarding the dizziness.
As an aside, I have been in contact with The <institution> in <location> and with the <institution> in the <location> were they are doing research into Alzheimer's.
Basically they are transferring blood from young people under <age> of age into people with dementia.
The <institution> people are doing human trials now and the results should be announced in the late <season>.
They have had good results using mice.

A:Hmm interesting.
I wonder how long it would take for the younger cells to break down due to the aging organs.
But if it could give you <time_period> with your loved one suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia, it sounds great! :) Please keep us updated.
A:Hi, Will do.
